Blue Whale Workshop

September, 8-14,1996
For three years large numbers of blue whales have migrated to the waters off Santa Barbara,

During this week we will learn more about current research. The trip includes two days on a boat
in the islands, lectures by scientists (including Dr. John Lilly) working with blues and a general
exploration of the indian culture of the beautiful Santa Barbara area, a pristine area of Southern
California. The Channel Islands Marine Sanctuary has over 23 species of dolphins and whales and
is teaming with marine life. Time out for partying!
