Blue Whale Workshop

Santa Barbara, California
September, 8-14,1996
For three years large numbers of blue whales have migrated to the waters off Santa Barbara, which are part of a vast protected marine sanctuary, The Channel Islands Marine Sanctuary. During this week we will learn more about current research. The trip includes two days on a boat in the islands, lectures by scientists (including Dr. John Lilly) working with blues and a general exploration of the indian culture of the beautiful Santa Barbara area, a pristine area of Southern California. The Channel Islands Marine Sanctuary has over 23 species of dolphins and whales and is teaming with marine life. Time out for partying!
