The scene will be set by Health and Beauty Director of Cosmopolitan magazine Karena Callen -joint author with Amanda Cochrane of the best-selling book - Dolphins and their Power to heal (Bloomsbury).
Terry Pinney from Hawaii will bring some amazing stories of personal encounters with dolphins from her new book - Dolphins, Angels of the Sea.
Dr Horace Dobbs author of Dance to a Dolphin's Song and Journey into Dolphin Dreamtime will recount with his usual zest and humour how 'Ambassador Dolphins' led him to search for the source of their uplifting spirit and how he applied his expertise in medical research to explore their therapeutic powers.
Jemima Nielson (nee Biggs) will tell how dolphins helped her come to terms with anorexia and find romance. She will be joined by her baby daughter Phoebe and her husband Jim. (See DOLPHIN No 27)
Bill Bowell will reveal how dolphins helped him climb out of the 'black pit' of chronic depression.
There will be a sparkling presentation by Shizuko Ouwehand with Konoe and Kokyo Ishizaki about the world's first Dolphin Healing Centre in Kyoto which has now had over 200 visitors. Racing driver Lilo Slumiok-Muller had cancer and was given 2 years to live. Four years later she is still alive.
Brigette Hanf-Enos will explain the anguish of coping with her autistic daughter Eve, and how dolphins have brought hope that one day Eve will speak. At present Eve communicates via her PC. Her mother will encourage her to respond to questions from the audience.
The conference will close with a visualisation/meditation led by Kath Huddlestone who will explain how methods such as crystals and dolphin healing are linked. She will be assisted by guitarist, song writer KimSeymour.
Ken Shapley (didgeridoo) and Sumine Hayashibara (violin) win add their own special musical contribution to the proceedings.
