Whale-watching was developed in 1953, reflecting changes in the public perception of cetaceans. Whale-watching also provides important benefits for environmental education and cetaceous research. For the first time central European people have a possibility to visit the North Calotte area in Scandinavia for whale-watching. By watching the whales you can prolong the life of cetaceans as a species . This may be the last chance before they say goodbye to this Planet .
